Unique brand with iconic cuisine
The story of Popeyes began in 1972 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Al Copeland, the founder of the company, opened a small restaurant called ""Chicken on the Run"", where he cooked fried chicken in a traditional style. However, Copeland realized that he needed to offer something special to attract attention and surprise visitors.
Experimenting with traditional recipes of Cajun and Creole cuisine, Copeland developed a new menu with spicy and unique tastes. He renamed his restaurant as Popeyes and offered the public a spicy New Orleans-style roast chicken. The idea was admired by the guests, and soon Popeyes became a place where people lined up to enjoy this unique taste.
Unique combination of tradition and modernity
Popeyes distinguishes itself with a unique ""New Orleans"" style menu that features spicy chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp and other regional items. The chain's passion for its Louisiana heritage and flavorful authentic food has allowed Popeyes to become one of the world's largest quick service restaurant chains with over 4 000 restaurants around the world.
